Artic Blast December 2022 and work schedule.
There is a mass of artic air coming down out of Canada from Siberia. This mass of air will reach us here in the Carolinas around Christmas (Friday, Saturday) and will cause tempurtures to be in the low teens and wind chills to be in the negative numbers if the weather forcasts are accurate, but most assuradly will change as the week moves forward.
This should not cause any changes to the work schedule as we will not be operating the week of Christmas due to reduced order volume.

NWS Weather Prediction Center:
Precipiation chances will begin to expand to the East Coast on Thursday as the upper-level low and associated surface fronts move eastward, with a coastal low forming near the Carolinas and moving up the coast. Winter Storm Watches have been issued for portions of the Interior Northeast along the Northern and Central Appalachians. Freezing rain totals between 0.1-.25 inches, locally higher, will be possible in the Central Appalachians of western Virginia, eastern West Virginia, the Maryland Panhandle, and central/Western Pennsylvania.

Thanksgiving
The Olon-NCU location in Union Grove, NC will not be operating on a stardard work schedule the week of Thanksgiving.
Unless orders are received the week of Thanksgiving assoicates with the highest hire seniority, and maintenience, will be returning to work, all others will remain on layoff until addition orders are secured.
